The Spool Wireless Ethanol Analyzer Kit offers a cost-effective and reliable way to monitor ethanol content and fuel temperature in your vehicle. Paired with a GM ethanol sensor and our free smartphone app, the analyzer provides real-time data, including ethanol concentration percentage and fuel temperature (in Fahrenheit). Utilizing the latest Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (BLE) protocol, the analyzer ensures minimal battery usage while leaving your smartphone's standard Bluetooth functions unaffected.

Why Do You Need an Ethanol Analyzer?

According to the latest ASTM guidelines, ethanol blends labeled E85 can contain anywhere from 51% to 85% ethanol. This variability means the E85 at your pump might actually be E55 (55% ethanol), which can pose serious risks to vehicles running performance E85 tunes.

Using a tune optimized for higher ethanol content with fuel containing less ethanol can lead to engine damage. With the Spool Ethanol Analyzer Kit, you’ll know the exact ethanol content in your tank, ensuring your engine runs safely and efficiently.
